Vision, Values & Objectives
On 1 April 2011 Solihull Community Services, provided by Solihull NHS Care Trust were transferred to Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust.
The aim of the transfer was to promote a strong Solihull focus by bringing together community services with Solihull Hospital. The services are shaped and governed by a local partnership including Solihull Council, general practitioners and other key stakeholders.
Our aim is to work in partnership to deliver local healthcare for local people. We are excited about working with the excellent staff in community services to create models of care which mean that the people of Solihull can benefit from the best possible services delivered as close to home as possible.
- Dr Mark Newbold, Chief Executive of Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust
We want to be clear as to what we are as a Trust and what we stand for. We want something that captures our core beliefs. That is what our Values are all about.
To be the most exciting and influential healthcare business worldwide.
To be a centre of excellence in the provision of healthcare and education.
I am proud to be a midwife and passionate about my job. I give nothing but my best - and that is recognised here.
Finding a way
In this job, you can't give up at the first hurdle. I love a challenge - a positive and can do attitude is what makes things happen.
My patients always come first - my goal is to provide the best quality care to make everyone feel as comfortable as they can during their stay here.
Teamwork is the key to a successful organisation. We work with our colleagues across the Trust to make sure we provide a clean and safe environment for our patients.
Innovation for advancement
What makes Heart of England unique is our ambition. We want to be the trendsetters in the NHS and need the very best staff working for us to achieve this.
